Dear Guests, the following slides are a compilation of fun facts and anecdotes about our journey together and an opportunity to introduce you all to some of the most important people celebrating by our side.

Queridos invitados, las siguientes fotografías son una recopilación de datos curiosos y anécdotas sobre nuestro tiempo juntos y además presentarles a algunas de las personas más importantes que estarán celebrando a nuestro lado.

FUN FACT #15

Daniela and Atthar met at work over Zoom during the pandemic. For months, they had to get to know each other from opposite ends of the country. As a result, Daniela had no idea Atthar was tall until he sent her this photo and she started measuring her own refrigerator for comparison.

Daniela y Atthar se conocieron en el trabajo a través de Zoom durante la pandemia. Durante meses, estuvieron conociéndose desde extremos opuestos del país. Como resultado, Daniela no tenía idea de que tan alto es Atthar hasta que le envió esta foto y comenzó a medir su propio refrigerador para comparar.

FUN FACT #24

Coincidentally, each number of the date of the wedding 10/24/24 is important. For example: The anniversary of our first date is exactly 6 months from our wedding date on April 24. Can you guess what the other 10 and 24 are?

Coincidentemente, cada número de la fecha de la boda 24/10/24 es importante. Por ejemplo: el aniversario de nuestra primera cita es exactamente 6 meses antes de la fecha de nuestra boda, el 24 de abril. ¿Puedes adivinar qué significan el otro 10 y 24?

FUN FACT# 32

Daniela & Atthar have two cats, named Bandit and Pixel (Bandit was named that for a very good reason).

Daniela y Atthar tienen dos gatos, llamados Bandit y Pixel. Bandit (Bandido) tiene ese nombre por una muy buena razón.


FUN FACT #45

The pair went on their first trip together just 4 weeks after meeting for the first time. It was the first of many, and for some reason many of those would be to New York. They've been to 12 countries together and 10 U.S. states (plus one that should be a state) and counting!

La pareja fue a su primer viaje juntos apenas 4 semanas después de conocerse por primera vez. Fue el primer viaje de muchos, y por alguna razón, muchos de esos viajes serían a Nueva York. ¡Han estado en 11 países juntos, 11 estados de los Estados Unidos (más uno que debería ser un estado) y contando!

FUN FACT #87

Atthar has introduced Daniela to his family's traditions, celebrations and food. Although the food is still too spicy for her. In this picture, the couple is celebrating Eid with Talha (Atthar's brother), Atiyya (Atthar's mom) and Sohail (Atthar's dad who is always taking pictures instead of being in them).

Atthar ha compartido con Daniela las tradiciones, celebraciones y comida de su familia. Aunque la comida todavía sigue siendo demasiado picante para ella. En esta foto, la pareja está celebrando Eid con Talha (el hermano de Atthar), Atiyya (la mamá de Atthar) y Sohail (el papá de Atthar que siempre esta tomando las fotos en vez de estar en ellas).

Atthar proposed at the same location of their first date, the National Arboretum in Washington D.C. only a few hours before their flight for vacations in Spain.

Atthar le propuso matrimonio en el mismo lugar de su primera cita, el Arboretum Nacional en Washington D.C., solo unas horas antes de partir de vacaciones a España.

FUN FACT #456

The Santamariña and Mirza families met for the first time on September 2, 2023 during the couple's engagement dinner. It must've gone well otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.

Las familias Santamariña y Mirza se conocieron por primera vez el 2 de septiembre de 2023 durante la cena de compromiso de la pareja. Debe haber ido bien, de otro modo no estarías leyendo esto.

FUN FACT #65

Talha, the best man of the wedding and brother of the groom, lives in Los Angeles and does extremely Los Angeles things like walking on red carpets and taking photos in front of logos. (Pssst: He's single.)

Talha, el padrino de la boda y hermano del novio, vive en Los Ángeles y hace cosas extremadamente propias de Los Ángeles como caminar sobre alfombras rojas y tomarse fotos frente a logotipos. (Pssst: Está soltero).

FUN FACT #223

Here are two strong men playing with fire. The one on the right is Oscar Santamariña, esteemed art director of our save-the-date and invitation. He is also brother of the bride.

Aquí pueden ver dos hombres fuertes jugando con fuego. El de la derecha es Oscar Santamariña, el reconocido director de arte de nuestro save-the-date e invitación, además de ser el hermano de la novia.

FUN FACT #168

Claudia, the maid of honor and sister that Daniela never had, has known Daniela since the 1st grade. They also graduated college together. Jury is still out on which of them speaks louder.

Claudia, la dama de honor y la hermana que Daniela nunca tuvo, conoce a Daniela desde el primer grado de primaria. También se graduaron juntas de la universidad. Aún está por juzgar cuál de las dos habla más alto.

Daniela's family is a bit more numerous than Atthar's. Here are some faces and names to remember for the wedding day. Left to right: Iker and Iñaki (Two of Daniela's brothers), Evelyn and Oscar (Stepmom and Dad), you know the next two, Vivian and Lidia (mom and grandma) and, finally, a younger clone of Oscar, also named Oscar.

La familia de Daniela es un poco más numerosa que la de Atthar. Aquí tienes algunos rostros y nombres para recordar el día de la boda. De izquierda a derecha: Iker e Iñaki (dos de los hermanos de Daniela), Evelyn y Óscar (madrasta y papá), ya conoces a los siguientes dos, Vivian y Lidia (mamá y abuela), y por último, un clone más joven de Oscar que también se llama Oscar.

FUN FACT #526

Dr. Adrian Blanco Ramos, PHD, Atthar's personal shopper, soccer coach, office spy, and dear friend, kindly agree to also add "officiant" to his title. From feeding inside information to Atthar before the couple started dating to helping plot the elaborate proposal surprise, he needed to see this through.

El Dr. Adrián Blanco Ramos, PHD, comprador personal de Atthar, entrenador de fútbol, espía de oficina y querido amigo, amablemente aceptó agregar también "oficiante" a sus títulos. Desde proporcionar información privilegiada a Atthar antes de que la pareja comenzara a salir hasta ayudar a planear la elaborada sorpresa de la propuesta, pues tenía que estar en esto hasta el final.
